Candy Land: Chanel's Latest Baubles
By Tanya Jensen

Fashion Wire Daily NY May 13, 2003 - Even though Chanel's new 'Water Flowers' line has just hit stores, fans of the jewelry collection are making their appreciation known in no uncertain terms.
The colorful cocktail rings are somewhat more playful than Chanel's other fine jewelry lines. Evoking the look and feel of spring and summer -- water flowers sailing along with the current, bright and light objects glinting through clear water -- the candy-colored collection is all about freshness and fun.
The stones and colors of 'Water Flowers' rework the original COCO ring, which was designed with combinations that were pleasing to Ms. Chanel,
including amethyst, aquamarine and peridot set in hoops of white gold.
The collection is made up of three styles: the 'Bouquet Ring,' which is a garland of six amethysts, four aquamarines and six peridots mounted on a ribbon of white gold; the 'Trois Camellias Ring,' a more
vivid combination of the stones in an open claw setting with white gold leaves and stems set with diamonds; and finally, the 'Feuille Ring' again a Camellia, but this time more elaborately designed -- a
hand-fashioned amethyst sits on a leaf of honeycomb-set tsavorites.
Prices range between $4,500-$13,000 at Chanel stores.
